Tours of Vieques Island

El Fortin Condé de Mirasól

Your webmasters' memories go back far enough to remember when a "tour" of Vieques meant meeting up with a local resident on the ferry ride from Fajardo and accepting their offer to ride you around in their car for a few hours.  On that particular occasion, we ended up staying at the family's home and eating at their table, as well.  Talk about hospitality!

Now the traveler to Vieques has many more options.  Of course, the night-time trip to Bio-Bay is a "must" and is covered elsewhere on this website.  Daytime tours are available on the land and on the water, encompassing the history, culture and natural beauty of "La Isla Nena" (Little Girl Island - so named for her relationship to the big island of Puerto Rico).
