If you are thinking of renting a car from a private party, remember, it is buyer beware. You do open yourself up for legal action for repairs whether you have caused the damage or not. It is not recommended to do this by me or anyone else. Hotels and house owners may have reputable people they work with, if so, work with them. Otherwise, that cheap rental you may have thought you would get, could be the most costly part of your vacation! I would not send a private party money, and I would not consider a lease or rental from anyone except a reputable dealer.

This area is only posted, because there are people who have secured house rentals for peak times and they are without a car. It would be wiser for house owners who rent homes during peak times (Thanksgiving thru Easter) to recommend potential clients to secure a car rental BEFORE they secure a house rental, especially in areas outside Isabel Segunda and Esperanza, where alternative transportation is available.
