hideaway nestled high on the Los Chivos ridge in Vieques. Featuring
incredible views, Las Terrazas
is centrally located yet enjoys the most private setting
imaginable. The lush tropical gardens and fruit trees that fill the 1.5
acre Las Terrazas
property are further graced by beautiful Spanish fountains and a
large pool.
This home features two independent units (yet
is rented only in total) each with two bedrooms and one bath, and is
ideal for as many as eight guests. Perfect for a large family or two
families traveling together, both the upstairs and downstairs units have
their own fully equipped kitchens.
New! In addition to the main
house, we are also now offering for rent the casita located on the Las
Terrazas property. This casita is only available to those renting the
main house, and it will not be rented separately. Perfect for larger
groups, or for those who seek a separate space for a nanny accompanying
a family, teenage/college age children, or an “in-law suite”, this
charming casita consists of a queen size bed, sitting area, kitchen, and
full bathroom.
The terraces (which give the house its name) are a favorite gathering
spot for enjoying the amazing view and spectacular sunrise and sunsets.
Relaxing by the pool as you lose count of the numerous hummingbirds
flitting in and out of the surrounding flowers will be a highlight of
your stay here.
Las Terrazas
is a short drive from some of the most beautiful beaches in the
Caribbean. Most beaches are all-but-deserted, and no beach in Vieques is
ever crowded. Also not to be missed is a visit to the other-worldly
Bio-Bay and excursions into Isabel Segundo and Esperanza. Everything is
within a very short drive from the house, unless the islands’ ubiquitous
wild horses slow your progress along the way!
