Casa Isla Nena
makes available three vacation apartments in Esperanza, the barrio
considered the tourist area. These units are situated in a safe and
friendly neighborhood that is within walking distance to everything. Two
houses away, a small hardware store/colmado (convenience store) with
staples and "unas frias" cold ones. A playground and park and
electronic/internet is but 1 block away. Another colmado and a bakery
(turned pizzeria in the evenings) is only 2 blocks away. Esperanza
Beach, the Malecon, restaurants and bars are but 4 blocks away. You
don’t need designated drivers while staying at Casa Isla Nena. Sun Bay
is approximately a 1-mile walk with Navio and Media Luna only a mile
further each. So for our guests at Casa Isla Nena, a car rental is an
option, not a requirement.
The house consists of three units tastefully decorated. Caribbean color
is the theme for all of these units. None of these units are anything
you have at home but yet you will have all the comforts of home. They
are all equipped with A.C. in each bedroom, fans in every room, TV,
DVD/VCR players, wireless hi speed internet, phone with local access,
kitchen appliances, other small appliances, a laundry room with iron,
beach equipment, books, games and puzzles, movies, gas grill and outside
eating area. Each unit has plenty of outside sitting area in front to
enjoy the cool breezes and a patio in back surrounded by banana plants
and mango trees. Our units offer all that and great neighbors too!
The efficiency apartment accommodates up to 4 people with a full size
bed and sofa-bed. The unit has a small kitchen area with a table and
four chairs. Guests in this unit have a small patio set to sit in front
or share a patio in the back of the house.
The two-bedroom apartment upstairs can be occupied by up to 4 guests.
Each bedroom has a queen sized bed. Here too, there is a kitchen area
and a table with four chairs. This unit has its own private deck in the
front with a small deck in back.
The three-bedroom apartment sleeps up to 7 guests. One bedroom contains
2 twin beds, the second a twin and a full size beds and the third
bedroom a queen size bed. The dining area sits six and many great meals
can be cooked in the huge kitchen.
There is also an adjoining door to the efficiency apartment which can
allow the accommodation of even larger families at a reasonable rate.
The large wrap-around porch is available for evening family gatherings
or you can enjoy meals on the back patio shared by all guests.
50% deposit required at time of booking, balance is due 30 days before
arrival. A separate $250 security deposit check will be required with
balance payment and returned within 30 days of departure, upon
inspection of unit and no damage or loss of property was incurred.
