Recently discovered but still unspoiled,
Vieques Island, off the eastern
coast of Puerto Rico, offers scores of gorgeous, pristine beaches,
friendly residents, and a wonderfully relaxed and healthy lifestyle.
Island activities include snorkeling, scuba diving, sailing, horseback
riding, fishing, hiking, wind surfing, kayaking, bicycling, and
night-time boat trips to the spectacular bioluminescent bay. In addition, you will
enjoy watching the wild Paso Fino horses and grazing Brahmin cattle that
dot the island. Eating and drinking are also high on the list—Vieques
has assembled a wide array of delightful restaurants and bars, each with
its own unique character. But of course the main activity on Vieques is
doing nothing at all.
Casa Dos Chivos is a newly-decorated
house situated in the Los Chivos hills of Vieques, with panoramic ocean views.
The sloping property has numerous aromatic fruit trees, including mango,
papaya, banana, breadfruit, avocado and lime. We encourage guests to
gather and eat whatever fruit they wish.
The house may be rented either as a one-bedroom or
a three-bedroom property. Whichever option you choose, your privacy is
ensured: if you rent the house as a one bedroom, we will NOT rent the
other portion of the house during your stay.
One bedroom option:
The upper level of the house consists of a very large great room (24 x 28 feet) with two
seating areas, dining area, and new, fully-appointed kitchen. A large
balcony with panoramic ocean views wraps around the great room on two
sides. Adjoining the great room is an air-conditioned master bedroom(king)
with adjoining bath (with shower). There is a fully-equipped laundry
room and gated, key-locked carport downstairs.
Three bedroom option: With this package, you’ll
have both floors of the house. A stylish spiral staircase connects the balcony of
the upper level with the newly-renovated lower level, which consists of
two air-conditioned bedrooms (queen and twin), bath (with shower),
large, L-shaped living/dining room, and kitchenette.

property manager will coordinate your arrival to our house and, for an
additional fee, can stock provisions for you prior to your arrival.

Rates: subject to change without
notice.
Deposit: A deposit of 50% of the entire amount is required to
confirm your reservation. Deposits are not transferable to another date.
Full payment must be received 1 month (4 weeks) before date of arrival.
Confirmation: A confirmation will be e-mailed/faxed/mailed to you
as soon as we receive your deposit.
Cancellation Fee: Cancellation fee is 20% of the total stay if we
are notified 4 weeks in advance of the arrival date. In the event of a
late cancellation, the deposit will not be refunded.
Security Deposit: We require a $250 security deposit due 1 month before
arrival. The deposit will be returned when our property manager has
verified there was no damage to the house.
Early Departure: No refund for early departure.
Miscellaneous: Please leave your pets at home. In consideration
for all our guests, smoking is permitted only on the veranda and not in
the house.
