and Welcome to Las Cayenas, the perfect eco-tourist getaway on the
beautiful island of Vieques. Our house is an ideal vacation spot for
small families or budget minded travelers looking to explore one of the
last undiscovered islands in the Caribbean.
Las
Cayenas is a charming home located in the neighborhood of Monte Santo,
right in the center of Vieques, and a ten minute
drive to dozens of
spectacular beaches. This is a newly constructed, two bedroom house with
a large screened in porch overlooking our wonderful back yard. The yard
itself is over an acre in size and features more than half a dozen
native fruit trees. Fresh limes for a frozen margarita, or bananas and
mangoes for the perfect daiquiri, are available right out the back door
depending on the season.
Our
house will comfortably sleep four people and features a full kitchen,
bath, and washer/dryer. We also provide towels, chairs, and coolers so
you can hit the beach just minutes after you arrive. Visiting anglers
are welcome to use our new propane grill to cook up their day’s catch.
The main town of Isabel Segunda, with the bank, post office, and
grocery, is a five minute drive from Las Cayenas. The nightlife of
Esperanza, with its waterfront restaurants and bars, is a ten minute
drive.
