Hacienda Bellavista, a secluded
compound, sits at the crest of one of the highest points on the island,
providing gentle ocean breezes and stunning views across to the main
island of Puerto Rico and Culebra to the North, and over the island's
quiet bays to the South.
Three separate homes make up the property: the main house, and two
separate casitas. The first floor of the main house includes two
bedrooms, with queen and king-size beds, full private bathrooms,
overhead fans, and air conditioning. A fully-equipped kitchen and family
area opens through two large wooden doors into a dramatic open-air
living area. A comfortable seating area complements an oversized
custom-made dining table, large enough for all to enjoy meals together.
Wrought-iron gates lead guests from the main living area through
well-kept grounds, past a garden patio to the pool with 180 degree ocean
views.
The lower floor of the main house provides space to sleep additional 3/4
in twin-size beds with its own separate bathroom. Stairs lead from the
main house down to the larger of the two casitas. The modern studio
layout includes a full kitchen, seating area, deck, a generously
proportioned bathroom, overhead fans and air conditioning, and a queen
bed in a raised bedroom alcove. The casita provides couples with a
lovely option for privacy, just steps from the main house.
A third, smaller casita sits closer to the driveway entrance to the
property. The studio layout also includes a queen bed, kitchen, full
bath, air conditioning and provides pretty ocean views to the south.
Rentals including the main house and two casitas, which together can
comfortably sleep 6, and as many as 9, if the lower floor sleeping area
is used.
Hacienda Bellavista is just ten
minutes from the airport or ferry landing, and all of the un-crowded
beaches and restaurants are within easy reach.
